In the class of full-size pickups, none have achieved the same legendary status that the Ford F-150 has. The 2023 edition delivers even more of the exciting performance and comfort features that have helped make this truck so popular with drivers, as well as a suite of driver-assist systems that can enhance drives while improving safety.

Performance

In addition to an optional four-wheel-drive powertrain for off-road adventures, the 2023 F-150 offers several engine options to choose from, all of which deliver impressive horsepower. Along with five V6 engines that range from a base 325-horsepower 2.7-liter to the F-150 Raptor’s 450-horsepower 3.5-liter high-output variant, there are also two V8 options.

The first V8 is a 400-horsepower 5.0-liter and the other is the Raptor R’s 5.2-liter V8, which produces 700 horses, more than enough for high-speed off-road racing. If you need to haul cargo or outdoor equipment in a trailer, this truck is capable of hauling up to 14,000 pounds when properly equipped, and even its 3.5-liter hybrid engine is capable of towing up to 12,700 pounds.

Interior

Inside this edition’s cabin, there’s a wide array of available comfort and productivity features to meet just about every need, including a fold-out interior work surface, leather seats with both heating and ventilation controls, and both an outside temperature display and dual-zone climate control.

On fair-weather days, both rows of passengers can enjoy a breeze with the dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and in addition to multiple cab sizes, which offer room for up to six passengers in SuperCab and SuperCrew models, both two- and four-door designs are available for you to choose from.

Technology

SYNC 4 is both convenient and entertaining, as it’s an infotainment system that lets you access navigation assistance, apps, and satellite radio, as well as smartphones through a wireless Bluetooth connection.

When near the bed of the vehicle, you can utilize the available Pro Power Onboard feature if you need to power up electrical tools or other large devices, and if you’re within 50 feet of the truck, connecting to the Internet is fast and easy when you have a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot in the cabin.

Safety

This edition also offers a wide range of different safety monitoring features that can help prevent collisions, such as the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), an intuitive system that warns whenever other vehicles are driving in your blind zones, and Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, which detects when other vehicles are blocking your path and can apply the brakes if you don’t respond to its visual and audio warnings.

If, for any reason, a collision does occur, Post-Collision Braking can sense when there’s an impact and can also automatically apply the brakes afterward to prevent another collision if you’re unable to do so. SOS Post-Crash Alert can then sound an alarm and illuminates the vehicle’s hazard lights to warn others of your presence.

Tough yet stylish and comfortable, the 2023 F-150 brings interior comfort luxuries and advanced tech to an impressive powertrain, making it the perfect truck for just about every scenario. To see this reliable Ford pickup up close, stop in and visit us today at Coughlin Ford of Pataskala.
