Your Tires Are Humming

There are a couple of different tire noises to watch out for. Tires that seem to hum may be bald, unevenly worn, and at heightened risk of a blowout. Thumping can indicate a balance issue. Get to know what normal driving sounds like for your vehicle so that you can spot unusual noises when they develop.

If your vehicle is vibrating while being driven, that’s another signal that replacement tires may be needed. The metal bars in your tires can slip, leading to uncomfortable shaking when the vehicle is driven at any speed. Vibrations can also be a sign that your tires are unbalanced or out of alignment. Our service department can inspect your tires and determine the problem.
